The death has occurred of Chrissie O’Dowd, Mountain Road, Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo, on 28th February, 2026, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital.

Predeceased by her parents Ignatius and Mary and her sister Maureen O’Dowd.

Lovingly remembered by Seán & Ann McLoughlin and family, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

May Chrissie Rest in Peace 🕊️

Following Gary’s passing on Thursday, his two pet cats require urgent rehoming- ideally together.
Gary’s immediate family live abroad and are unable to take care of them.

The death has occurred of Gary Thomas, Shamrock Cottage, Aclare, Co. Sligo and formerly of Lymington and Birmingham, England, on 26th February, 2026, peacefully at Galway University Hospital.

Predeceased by his wife Connie and his first wife Brenda.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughter Karen (Harris), son Michael, son-in-law Mark, daughter-in-law Niki, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, kind neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of John (Johnny) Kirrane, Tourlestrane and formerly of Knockahoney, Aclare, Co. Sligo, on 21st February, 2026, suddenly but peacefully at Sligo University Hospital, in the presence of his loving family (in his 91st year).

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Nora, sister Josephine and his brothers Martin and Michael-James.

Sadly missed by his beloved wife Bernadette, daughters Paula, Gráinne and Siobhán, sons Raymond and Fintan, grandchildren Ava, Aisling, Michael, Caoimhe, Conor, Lucy, Aoibheann and Méabh, sons-in-law Peter, Kevin and Shane, brothers Tom and Brendan, sister-in-law Margaret, nephews, nieces, cousins, kind neighbours and friends.
