On 27th November 2025, the European Union (Simple Pressure Vessels) (Amendment) Regulations 2025 were signed into law. These changes strengthen compliance and market surveillance under Regulation (EU) 2019/1020, ensuring only safe and compliant products reach the EU market.

What is a Pressure Vessel?
A pressure vessel is a container designed to hold gases or liquids at a pressure significantly different from the surrounding atmosphere. Simple pressure vessels—commonly used in industrial and pneumatic systems—must meet strict standards to prevent hazards like leaks or explosions.
