Bethany House Nursing Home is a 90 bed family run nursing home located in the beautiful village of Tyrrellspass. The Nursing Home has been in existence for almost 20 years and has built its strong reputation and good name for delivering the highest of standards in person centred care. We strive to provide a safe, inviting and homely environment for all our residents, whilst promoting independence and providing a sense of purpose for all residents. Our aim is to deliver a service which offers life enhancing experiences to all who call Bethany House their home.

💍✨ A day full of joy at the nursing home! Today we celebrated a beautiful mock wedding between Noel and Róisín. Residents and staff gathered to enjoy a ceremony filled with laughter, smiles, and love.

🍰 Delicious food and sweet treats were shared, with plenty of tea, coffee, wine and even a celebratory toast.
🎶 Music filled the room, setting the perfect scene for dancing, clapping, and sing-alongs.

The day reminded us all of the importance of togetherness, fun, and making memories. ❤️

A Taste of Home – Celebrating Nursing Home Week

Last week, we celebrated Nursing Home Week with a theme close to our hearts – "A Taste of Home." The air was filled with the warm aroma of freshly baked bread, cakes, and comforting home-cooked meals, bringing back cherished memories of family kitchens and Sunday dinners.

Residents shared stories of their favorite recipes, the special meals that brought families together, and the joy of baking for loved ones. It was more than just food – it was a celebration of connection, tradition, and the little things that make a house a home.

🧁 A Sweet Day at Ballycommon Bake House! 🧁

Today, we had the absolute pleasure of bringing some of our wonderful nursing home residents to the charming Ballycommon Bake House for a special outing. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and the comforting aroma of freshly baked treats.

Our residents enjoyed delicious scones, cakes, and a lovely cup of tea while sharing stories, laughter, and memories. The Bake House team were incredibly kind and accommodating, making everyone feel right at home.

We had the joy of taking a group of residents on an outing to the beautiful friary in Multyfarnham and the serene Abbey Blooms .Surrounded by nature and history, Our residents enjoyed the calming atmosphere and a quiet moment in the chapel and exploring the gardens.We enjoyed a stroll through the floral displays and shared stories over tea ,sandwiches and scones .Thanks to the community Garda bus for the transport. A lovely day had by all.
