Checked out some of the latest mannequins and training equipment at the National Community First Responder Conference CFR Ireland. Hands-on practice with realistic equipment makes all the difference in preparing people with the confidence and skills to act in an emergency.

Delighted to have attended the 11th National Community First Responder Conference Respond2025 in Mullingar at the weekend.

It was inspiring to hear the updates, share ideas, and connect with so many passionate people working together to make Ireland a “Heart Safe” nation.

This year marked 20 years of Community First Response in Ireland. From the first few groups in 2005 to nearly 350 CFR schemes and 4,500 volunteers today, the impact has been incredible.

Huge thanks to the organisers CFR Ireland Respond2025, the National Ambulance Service, Dublin Fire Brigade, PHECC, Irish Heart Foundation and all partners who made this such an excellent day.
