🏐 Calling All Women in Sport– Strengthen Your Game from the Ground Up! 🧘♀️
Join me for a taster class to discover how you can use Yoga for Injury Prevention in Sport! Kindly funded by Cavan Sports Partnership to celebrate Women in Sport week with Shercock Gfc.
This taster class will focus on ankle and knee mobility – two of the most commonly injured areas in sport.
👣 Why start with the feet?
Because your feet are your foundation. Every sprint, pivot, jump, and tackle starts with your feet. When foot and ankle mobility are limited, extra pressure travels up to the knees – increasing the risk of strains, sprains, and ACL injuries. Improving strength and mobility in your feet and ankles helps your knees track better, absorb force more efficiently, and keep you match-ready.
This class is suitable for anyone in sport, of all ages and levels – whether you’re a minor, junior, intermediate, or senior. No previous yoga experience needed!
