We fully understand and respect the enormity in choosing the right residential care home for your loved one. Our approach is simple, we provide support through a free consultation and tour of our community. During this consultation we will find out the specific needs of your loved one, explain our approach to care and answer any questions you may have about Bishopscourt. We always encourage that you should visit more than one home in order to make an informed decision. We recently held a Safeguarding Adults Information Afternoon with our residents — over a lovely cup of tea, coffee, and biscuits. ☕🍪

This initiative, led by Grace Healthcare Ireland aims to promote the rights, safety, and wellbeing of older adults across their ten nursing homes. 🙌💙

It was a warm and engaging session that reminded us all that everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and heard. 🕊️

A big thank you to all who took part and helped make the afternoon so special. 💛

🎃👻 Things got a little spooky here at Bishopscourt Residential Care
Our fun resident Hannah had everyone laughing with her wicked witch cackle, while Alicia (our skeleton nurse!) gave Michelle (our chef) quite the fright! 😱
And of course, Margaret and Megan kept the Halloween spirit alive on the dance floor 💃🕺 Dancing to the music of the fabulous Irish Weavers 🥰

🎃👻 Halloween Fun at Bishopscourt 👻🎃

Our Residents and their loved ones had a spook-tacular time at this year’s Halloween Party! Everyone made a fantastic effort to dress up and really get into the Halloween spirit 🧡🖤.

Big thanks to Irish Weavers for keeping everyone singing and clapping along with wonderful music 🎶, and to our amazing Chef Michelle for the delicious treats that kept energy (and smiles!) high 😋🍴.

It’s these moments that make memories so special — thank you to everyone who joined in the fun and to our Activities Coordinators and all the staff who helped make it such a magical day. 💛

💜 Fun & Friendship at Bishopscourt Residential Care 💜 where it’s been another wonderful week filled with laughter, creativity, and great company
🎈 The Floor is Lava!
Our residents had a fantastic time playing the “balloon must not hit the floor” game — lots of laughter and quick reactions as everyone kept the balloon from touching the ‘lava’ 😄🔥
(Hannah, Eileen, Mir and Christine were just some of those getting in on the fun!)

🧶 Knitting Time
Our talented resident Ita is busy creating a beautiful scarf — just in time to keep cozy this winter. 🧣💖

🥊 Exercise with Amayo of Siel Bleu Ireland a social enterprise and a non for profit organisation who transform lives through exercise

🏋️‍♀️🏋We’ve welcomed Amayo, who has taken over from Kuba while he’s away in Australia. He’s absolutely fantastic — the residents love his energetic classes (including some fun boxing moves) and always join in with great enthusiasm 👏

🥰 Happy 96th Birthday, Sheila 🎂💛

Today, we celebrated the wonderful Sheila at Bishopscourt Residential Care. Her daughter in Australia made sure Sheila felt extra special by sending her favourite treat – a beautiful pavlova🍰. As you can see from the photos, Sheila couldn’t wait to dig in, and she thoroughly enjoyed every delicious bite🥰

It was a fantastic day filled with smiles, laughter, lots of singing of 'Happy Birthday to you' and birthday cheer. Here’s to Sheila – 96 years young and loving every minute 🎈

A Special Visitor at Bishopscourt Residential Care
Recently we had the joy of a visit from Miller the Dog from Therapy Dogs Ireland.
Miller brought smiles, cuddles, and plenty of wagging tails to brighten everyone’s day. 💛🐶
