Minimise the Mycotoxin risk on your farm! 🐮

There are several ways farmers can reduce the risk of Mycotoxin exposure in their herd;
1. Ensuring that the rumen is as healthy as possible
2. Removing any visibly spoiled or mouldy silage and feed from the pit and feed-out areas
3. Ensure good fermentation in this years silage pits to prevent mould formation

Helping the rumen to remove mycotoxins through the dietary inclusion of UltraSorb-R is key to maintaining a healthy herd.

The presence of mould does not necessarily mean that there are mycotoxins present in a feedstuff but the reverse also applies; feedstuff that appears to have an absence of mould is not necessarily mycotoxin free.

Are you having difficulty sourcing a sustainable protein similar to soya?

NovaPro is a high energy, hot pressed rumen protected r**eseed expeller supplying similar quantity of rumen bypass protein as hi-pro soya.

Trials run at the University of Nottingham found rations containing NovaPro produced an additional 1.7 litres of milk per cow per day compared to a soya and r**e ration, with no significant effect on milk constituents.

The trials also found an improved amino acid profile, r**e having a closer amino acid profile to milk protein than soya, and improved protein utilisation, shown by a significant reduction in milk urea nitrogen level, meaning less nitrogen pollution on farm.
