Our friends in SETU are running a great programme that may be of interest to our patients , friends and family members:

Are you living with a long-term health condition that’s affecting your quality of life?
Would you like to take part in a supervised exercise programme?
If you’re available Monday and Wednesday mornings (10:00–12:00) for 6 weeks, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re currently recruiting participants for a free, twice-weekly programme in the SETU Arena.
Key dates
Pre-screening & fitness testing: 9 and 11 February
Exercise sessions begin: 9 March at 11am on Monday and Wednesday
Duration: 6 weeks, with a 2-week Easter break

A great cause that is close to our hearts here at JHMP is is the Every Light A Life Campaign, from CRITICAL, one of Ireland’s leading Emergency Medical Response charities.
We are very proud of one of our colleagues Dr Paul Campbell, who devotes so much of his time to this wonderful charity, Dr Paul and members of this charity, are often first to the scene of critical emergencies in our communities.

Their team of Volunteer Emergency Medical Responders and First Responders are the people who will respond to a 999 call when things go wrong in your community.

If you are considering a Christmas donation, please take a moment to read bout the wonderful life-saving work this charity carries out in real life emergencies, all across Ireland.

Winter Respiratory & Acute Medicine Clinic
Our practice is providing extra Respiratory and Acute Clinics over the winter period.

Running every Tuesday evening 5:30pm – 7:30pm

From 9th December 2025 to 10th February 2026

These clinics take place outside our normal surgery hours and are for patients with acute onset illnesses or worsening symptoms that need same-day attention.

Waterford are playing westmeath at 2.30 in Baltinglass wicklow in the all ireland c final Saturday 26th.
