We have a rare opening at DC. We provide excellent care, in a professional, friendly and relaxed setting. We don't work Friday evenings or weekends, with clinic closed fron lunchtime Friday until Monday morning, and closed on BHs.

We need a new team member. You would welcome our patients to our clinic, orient them towards treatment suites, prepare suites, cover phones when required and take payment and help plan next appointments. There would also be administrative and office duties, including some payroll and accounts, banking and general management of the clinic.

We need someone gentle, friendly and kind, with an excellent ability to engage and put people at ease. Confidentiality is of the upmost importance. Initiative, good organisational skills and the ability to operate calmly during both busy and quiet times is needed. Some flexibility with holiday cover and cover for other team members when required is vital, however the clinic remains closed at weekends, BHs and over Christmas.

Hours will be finalised with the successful applicant and would currently be from 20 to 30 hours per week.

Previous experience in a medical or front of house setting is beneficial. We require a longer term commitment for this position, due to training required and for our continuity. A comfortable shadowing period (at full pay) would be given.

As many of you will know we have been closed since March 16th. I am sorry we cannot do what we always do at this time. Please contact me if anyone needs advice on home office set up, back care guidance or stretches etc.
Personally, trying to create degrees of certainty in daily life has helped. Be it "today I will go for a walk at 6pm", "tomorrow I will do the garden". Uncertainty can be one of the most difficult aspects and it can help to diminish it.
My certainty been tidying the clinic on a grand scale! It unearthed many memories, including many of our wonderful colleague Michelle who passed in 2013, and a photo from 2005 with me sporting some Simon Cowell style trousers 🙈.
