Little obstacle course for a client today to work on things like balance, coordination and movement in different directions (step up, plate hop, side step, diagonal step to each cone, hop over bar)
Movement in different planes of motion is important, especially as we get older, as most things we do are just forwards and backwards. If we don’t try to move in different directions we can be at a higher risk of falls due to loss of balance and control of the muscles which can help with stability
Not everything in the gym has to be about strength and weight but working on things which are functional is also very important. It’s also important to try and keep things fun 🙌
