🎄✨ Christmas Kindness at Our Nursing Home ✨🎄
On the 24th of December, we were delighted to welcome some very special visitors as the elves arrived to deliver beautiful care packs as part of the CarePack.ie initiative 🎁🧝‍♂️
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who kindly sent in a care pack for our wonderful residents. Your generosity, thoughtfulness, and kindness truly meant so much and brought huge smiles and festive cheer to all.
A very special thank you to CarePack.ie, the amazing volunteers, An Post, and everyone involved in making this incredible initiative possible. It truly shows the power of community and care at Christmas time ❤️

Our residents enjoyed a very special visit from Santa in our very own Santa’s Grotto 🎅✨
Santa delivered selection boxes for everyone, spreading lots of smiles and Christmas cheer.

Another lovely festive morning with Christmas carol singing by the wonderful children of Castlebridge National School last Thursday 🎄✨

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the visit and were delighted to help pack the goodie bags to give to the children, making it a very special and meaningful experience for everyone involved ❤️
The children also presented our residents with beautiful handmade Christmas cards, which brought so many smiles.
A huge thank you to all the children and their teachers for sharing your time, talents and Christmas spirit with us. We hope you all have a magical Christmas 🎶🎅

🎄✨ A Lovely Afternoon of Music & Christmas Cheer ✨🎄

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed a beautiful afternoon yesterday filled with song and festive spirit. We were delighted to welcome the Bridge Choir along with the International Choir, who sang the most wonderful Christmas carols for our residents.

The joy, smiles, and sing-alongs truly made it a special occasion for everyone involved. 🎶❤️

A heartfelt thank you to both choirs for sharing your time, talent, and Christmas magic with us — it was very much appreciated by all. 🌟

🎄💪 Festive Fitness Fun! 💪🎄

Our residents had a wonderful fitness fun morning, Christmas style, with our fantastic physio Catherine 🎅🎶
There was plenty of movement, laughter, and festive cheer, and a great morning was truly had by all!

A big thank you to Catherine for making exercise so enjoyable and for spreading the Christmas spirit 🎄✨

📣 Lost Dog – Found at Castlebridge Manor Nursing Home 🐶💛

This friendly dog arrived at our nursing home today seeking shelter from the storm. He is safe, warm, and being well cared for by our staff.

If anyone in the local area is missing their dog, please get in touch with us here at Castlebridge Manor. We would love to reunite this sweet pup with their owner.

🎅 A Magical Bingo Surprise! 🎉

Last week during our bingo afternoon, we had the most wonderful surprise — a special visit from Santa himself! ❤️✨

Our residents were absolutely delighted as Santa spread festive cheer, shared smiles, and brought a little Christmas magic to the room. There were laughs, warm moments, and even a few lucky bingo wins! 😉🎄

Thank you Santa for making the day so special — the sparkle in everyone’s eyes said it all.

🌼 DAISY Awards 2025 – Our First Celebration! 🌼

On Wednesday, 3rd of December we proudly celebrated our first DAISY Awards for 2025 — a special recognition programme that honours nurse staff who go above and beyond with compassion, care and kindness.

We had three wonderful nominees this year: Sujeesh, Athirimol and Caitlin. A big well done and congratulations to all for your hard work and dedication. Each one truly deserved recognition, but there could only be one winner.

A huge congratulations — so well deserved.

It was a magical day celebrating our staff, and even our resident cat Kevin dressed for the occasion in his gold bow, looking every bit the star of the show. 🐱💛

As we step into a brand new month, we’re delighted to share our December Newsletter with you all. From festive preparations to cosy winter moments, there’s so much to look forward to in the weeks ahead.

We also want to take a special moment to celebrate our Artist of the Month for November — the incredibly talented James. 🎨✨
James has been painting for many, many years, and we are truly grateful that he continues to share his passion with us. His dedication shines through every masterpiece he creates, and as you can see from the photos, his talent is simply outstanding.
