We’re delighted to welcome the month of March here in our nursing home!
As the days grow longer and the evenings become brighter, we look forward to enjoying the signs of spring all around us — from cheerful daffodils beginning to bloom to the fresh, uplifting feel that this lovely season brings.

Along with sharing our March newsletter, we are proud to announce Michael as our Artist of the Month 🎨
Michael doesn’t always take part in arts and crafts, but when he does, his dedication truly shines. His latest piece is nothing short of a masterpiece, and we are so proud to showcase his wonderful talent.

💙 Denim Day for Dementia 💙

Today we proudly wore our denim to support Denim Day for Dementia, raising awareness and showing solidarity for those living with dementia and their families.

A huge thank you to our wonderful staff for wearing their jeans and getting involved — your support means so much! 👖💙

Special thanks to our amazing kitchen team for the delicious blue cupcakes 🧁

And to everyone who has generously donated to our fundraiser, we truly appreciate your kindness and support. Every contribution helps make a difference.

🌼 Alpaca Visit Fun at Our Nursing Home! 🌼

On Tuesday, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the cutest alpacas, Paddy and Oscar, from K2 Alpacas to our nursing home — and what a wonderful afternoon it was! 🦙💕

Their gentle nature and fluffy charm brought so many smiles, laughter, and lovely moments for our residents and staff. There was plenty of petting, photos, and heartwarming interactions that truly brightened everyone’s day.

A huge thank you to K2 Alpacas for bringing Paddy and Oscar to visit us. Your kindness and the joy you shared with our community is so appreciated.

🌿 Ash Wednesday at Castlebridge Manor 🌿

Today was a gentle and meaningful day of reflection in our home. Our residents enjoyed a lovely fish meal, shared in warm company and conversation.

We were truly grateful to Fr. Kelly and Margaret for holding a beautiful Mass and blessing our residents and staff with ashes — a touching moment of faith, peace, and togetherness.

🥞💛 Pancake Tuesday Treat Trolley 💛🥞

Our Pancake Tuesday trolley was a wonderful success today!
The smell of fresh pancakes filled the halls as residents enjoyed a delicious selection of sweet treats, tasty toppings, and plenty of smiles. 😊

From classic lemon & sugar to indulgent chocolate and berries, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Most importantly, it was lovely to see residents sharing laughs, making memories, and savouring the special moments together.

A special thank you to our fantastic Chef Niall and our wonderful kitchen staff for preparing the delicious pancakes and helping make the day so special! 💛

It’s Pancake Tuesday and we’re flipping into a day full of smiles, sweetness, and a little bit of silliness! 😄

💕 Love was in the air this Valentine’s Day at the Manor 💕

On Friday, we celebrated in the sweetest way — with beautiful live music, delicious cakes and treats, and lovely roses shared with our wonderful residents. 🌹🎶🍰

Smiles, laughter, and warm moments filled the day, reminding us that love and friendship can be celebrated at every stage of life. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special for our residents — it truly was a celebration to remember.
