When Self-worth is bound up in performance. Only feeling good enough when doing lots or showing results. When that doesn't happen, feelings of failure or worthlessness.
A feeling learned onto people by parents or caregivers.
Healing begins with gaining awareness that this feeling is NOT the real us, not a defective part of us, rather an 'error file' message thats been wrongly passed onto us by others.
