Today my heart ❤️ is feeling tender and full.

Eighteen years ago, I became a mum for the very first time. My eldest son Liam arrived and everything changed in an instant.🥰

And now, somehow, already he’s preparing to head off to the UK next year to study Engineering… 🏎️and I’m entering my own new chapter as I move deeper into my Perimenopause journey.

It’s a season of big emotions. A time to reflect on what’s been, honour what’s changing, and soften into what’s coming next.🤗

KINDNESS & COMPASSION 🥰

Two cards. Two strong messages this morning.

Both of which I have embodied towards myself this summer 🌻and both of which are at the core of my 🧘‍♀️yoga classes, videos and courses.

Feeling the heat 🥵of my perimenopause this year has opened my heart ❤️ to flowing with my capacity to help others be kind to themselves as they try to move with their own capacity. Whatever that is and whenever it changes.

In a world full of high expectations it can be hard to listen within to what we actually need.

Instead following the shoulds or pushing too hard otherwise you feel lazy, not good enough.

But life wasn’t meant to be this way.

Look at nature. The seasons. The waves. 🌊 The trees. 🌳 the moon 🌕

They don’t rush or hurry, they move through each phase, each cycle with kindness and compassion. With respect for these charges in energy.
