Thank you to all the clients who trusted and gave me the privilege to treating them. Thank you to my family and friends for loving me all the way during a year which was very challenging. Thank you to my colleagues and professional therapist who supported me. And lastly to the doggies and Mother Nature. Now it is time for me to hibernate and retreat. I've suddenly got a very itchy scalp. Of course, if you know me you can imagine I checked for all that you must check first, including bugs...thank God non were there phew!
I learnt a good few things in the process, not only the reasons for an itchy scalp and the treatments available, but without doubt, the most important thing was THE WAY THE MIND WORKS. Whatever is what you focus on, that is what you will get, and that works for everything, even if you say YOU DON'T WANT SOMETHING, YOU WILL GET THAT SOMETHING!
This was my experience (if your experience is pain, that is what happens as well)
1. As most irritable I've got, as more itch I have.
2. If I was distracted focused on something else, I had no itch!
3. Mind is the whole body, including thoughts, beliefs and emotions. I discovered that the body never lies, I was already stressed and irritated when the itch started.The skin (the first barrier of the body) talked to me straight in the head to tell me, "Hey calm down, all it is going to be manageable!"
So, MAKE FRIENDS WITH YOUR MIND, and get to know her language, her manner. So far, I am telling her, "I have a very smooth scalp." Sometimes, it works well; it doesn't go out of control; at least I am domesticating it. When it appears, I don't feed it with suffering.
