Preparing for the first of 12 months of SoulWork in Nature half day workshops. This group will meet once a month for 12 months to be in nature working with creative therapeutic exercises, rituals, poetry and stillness and the gift of working with the same group of people for 12 months. I have spent the last 2 days in the woodland preparing and I feel the benefits in spades that nature offers - both emotionally and physically.

Spending time in nature helps to ground us and take us out of our heads and into our bodies. In our busy lives we need to prioritise a time for being still. What a privilege to be asked to run a workshop on this beautiful land in Athlone. Working therapeutically out in nature is a wonderful way to work. Working with a group of people willing to embrace the idea of Environmental Art Therapy and the possibilities it brings continues to open my eyes to the healing salve that nature is. healing
