The Practice of Iechyd Da offers a natural approach to good health and well being through the use of Acupuncture, Naturopathy and Reiki. Since using the homemade dishwasher powder (which I have been finding great by the way) I have noticed it doesn't like tanins,so our mugs and teaspoons are getting stained.
I have recently discovered a mixture of cornflour and white vinegar and a little scrubbing brings them up a treat. Works wonders on the kitchen sink too!!

I made dishwashing tablets the other day and have to say they are very effective. Dishes good and clean with no chemical residue. With just 4 ingredient : washing soda,epsom salts, baking powder and lemon juice

On the second day of testing out a Tree tea and Geranium natural deodorant i have made and i have to say it works amazingly!
Thanks to orna murphy for the recipe! Super easy to make:
- bicarbonate of soda
- cornflour
- coconut oil
All equal parts. Well half of the bi carb on recommendation, as it can be quite drying on the skin
- drops of essential oil your liking

The chamomile is picked and ready to be made into a lovely tincture.
Great for improving sleep and relaxation and also for colicky and teething babies too.

Happy new year folks!hope you all had a lovely christmas.
Just a couple of tips for those who feel they may of over indulged slightly....
1. Milk thistle! Its a herbal tincture which has many properties 2 of which; helps to detoxify your body and protect the liver.
2. Probiotics! They will regenerate the good bacteria in your gut which may of taken a battering from all the rich tasty foods, sugar and alcohol. They will help with sluggish digestion and strengthen your immune system.
Both can be found in your local health food shop!

Tis blackberry season so get picking and fill up your freezer ready for winter! Filled with vitamin K which helps muscles to relax (esp great for women) Full of Vit C and the good old important Antioxidants!

Thanks to orna, for the beautiful rosemary which I made my first batch of tinctures of the year.
Rosemary can help many ailments such as headaches, sleep disorders and digestive problems its also a great anti bacterial, anti inflammatory and contains anti oxidants
