I’m a former professional tennis player who discovered yoga and meditation through my sport. I now try to devote time each day to my yoga and meditation practice. I continue to learn each day.
I am a certified yoga teacher, teaching a vinyasa flow style of practice to adults. I’m also a certified kids yoga teacher, running classes in preschools and schools. I’m a Connected Kids™ tutor, qualified to teach meditation and mindfulness to children on a one to one and small group basis.

I began meditating to help me with my mental game on the tennis court. Meditation helped improve my concentration, my ability to deal with nerves, and it gave me coping skills to deal with the frustrations of professional sports where matches and performances didn’t always go the way I wanted. Meditation has since then helped me cope with daily life.
I first took up the physical practice of yoga in college at the University of San Diego. It was a couple of years later before I returned to it during a phase of injury I was going through. From then I was hooked. I love the physical feeling of strength and opening of the body one can feel after a yoga practice. The benefits of calming the mind and feeling more centred are what I enjoy most from my yoga and meditation practice.
My mission is to guide children, teens, adults and athletes in the practice of yoga and meditation. To help them develop tools to aid them in coping with the demands and stresses of life and modern day sport.
I runs yoga classes for adults in Aughrim Community Sports Complex on Monday mornings and Wednesday evenings. These classes are a mixed level and are a vinyasa flow style class, helping to lengthen and strengthen the body and calm and focus the mind. During the summer months we practice outdoors in various scenic locations, taking in the fresh air and the beauty of nature.
I run yoga and/or meditation workshops for athletes, tailoring the workshops to the particular needs of the athletes in the group.
I run yoga & meditation classes for children in preschools, Montessoris and in primary & secondary schools.
