I have been placing dental implants for more than a decade. Three years ago, I began to incorporate a unique system to improve the healing and osseointegration of the implants. This method is called PRF or Platelet Rich Fibrin.
At the same time of the implant visit, I draw 20cc of the patient's blood, similar to a simple blood test. From that blood, I concentrate the fibrin portion, which is rich in platelets and growth factors. This sample is reintroduced to signal to the body to HEAL - better and faster. It uses nature to rev up the healing process, making for a better result.
