I'm Fulvia Garini, a certified Cold Water Therapy practitioner, instructor in Oxygen Advantage breathwork for sports performance and health, Pranayama , Women’s Holistic Health Coaching and Transformational Life Coaching. I am also a dedicated Wim Hof Method practitioner. My own journey started several years ago with the Wim Hof Method and through breathwork and cold exposure I have seen dramatic improvements to my own health and wellbeing including:

* clearing symptoms of asthma, allergy and sinusitis,
* increased energy and concentration,
* decreased inflammation
* alleviation of stress and anxiety,
* mood regulation
* a smoother journey processing grief and loss,
* improved immune and hormone function
* increased emotional and mental resilience

As a full time performing circus artist, breath and cold exposure have also been key in achieving peak performance and being able to give 100% every time. Two years ago I joined as a student. This year I’m back as an assistant, deepening my knowledge and supporting others on their journey.

I’m grateful to be part of this community — curious, vibrant, always evolving, and truly at the forefront of cold water therapy in Israel.

אמבטיית קרח במי מלח - אי פעם ניסיתם?
גם לנו זו הייתה פעם ראשונה.

ג׳ריקנים בידיים, הלוך ושוב עד שהאמבטיות התמלאו – החבר׳ה האלה באמת עבדו בשביל האייסבאת שלהם!

קצת יצירתיות (וקצת שרירים), ובסוף המאמץ משתלם.

Have you ever tried a saltwater ice bath?
It was a first for us too.

Jerry cans in hand, back and forth until the tubs were full - these guys really worked for their ice bath!

A bit of creativity (and some muscle), in the end the effort is worth it.

בשבוע שעבר הייתה לי הזדמנות מיוחדת להנחות סדנה יחד עם צוות מתנדבים מקסים של CWT 💪

הסדנה הייתה לנשות צה״ל שמלוות חיילים על הספקטרום האוטיסטי – כן, יש תפקיד כזה ומדהים לראות את ההשקעה והמסירות שלהן.

הן הגיעו מכל רחבי הארץ, ורבות מהן נפגשו זו עם זו בפעם הראשונה.
ביחד עברנו תרגילי נשימה ותנועה, נכנסנו לאמבטיות קרח ❄️, וסיימנו עם תחושת שחרור, כוח ורעננות חדשה.

תודה גדולה לכל מי שעזר להפוך את זה לאפשרי –

Last week wound up the forested hills outside Jerusalem and arrived at Tzur Hadassa where hosted us at her amazing place for the annual CWT community meet.
It was great to see new faces from the other courses - I feel lucky to be part of such a rich and varied community. Each of you bring something unique, and I’m taking that with me as fuel for what comes next. I left feeling connected and with renewed inspiration to continue and grow and share the cold as much as possible.

השבוע שמחתי לקחת חלק בהתנדבות עם צוות בלהעביר סדנה מיוחדת עבור חיילי מילואים ובני ובנות זוגם במלון דן קיסריה

חלק מהמשתתפים המדהימים הללו שירתו למעלה מ-400 ימי מילואים. הסדנה הייתה הזדמנות ייחודית עבורם להתחבר מחדש, לבלות זמן איכות יחד, ולחוות חוויה מחזקת ומשקמת.

למרות הקור והגשם (13 מעלות בחוץ), כולם הגיעו באומץ והיו מוכנים לחוות את הקרח. אני בטוחה שהסאונה שחיכתה להם לאחר מכן עזרה קצת!

הצוות המדהימה הובל על ידי יוסי אהרוני
והצטרפו אלינו מספר בוגרים חדשים מקורס תרפיית הקור. זה מעורר השראה לראות את הקהילה שלנו גדלה ונותנת בחזרה ללא הרף.

תרפיית הקור עוסקת ביותר מאשר רק להתמודד עם הקור – היא עוסקת בחוסן, בחיבור, ובלמידה לשבת עם אי-נוחות. היא עוזרת לנו לפתח הבנה עמוקה יותר של הגוף והנפש שלנו, ומלמדת אותנו כיצד למצוא רוגע בתוך הכאוס.

שמחה וגאה שהייתי חלק מחוויה משמעותית כזו ומצפה לעוד רגעים של אומץ, חיבור וצמיחה.

As I read this quote from "The Body Keeps the Score", I couldn’t help but think of the practice of ice baths.
Ice baths teach us to stay present with intense sensations.

The cold can feel overwhelming at first, but through controlled breathing and mindful focus, we can create a sense of safety and mastery in the discomfort, rewiring our relationship with stress, and helping us nurture ourselves even in challenging moments.

כשקראתי את הציטוט הזה מתוך הספר The Body Keeps the Score, מיד חשבתי על תרגול טבילות קרח.

טבילות קרח מלמדות אותנו להישאר נוכחים עם תחושות עזות.

הקור עשוי להרגיש מציף בהתחלה, אבל דרך נשימה מבוקרת וריכוז מודע, אנו יכולים ליצור תחושת ביטחון ושליטה בתוך אי-הנוחות, לשנות את הקשר שלנו עם לחץ, ולעזור לעצמנו לטפח רוגע גם ברגעים מאתגרים.

כל יום זה משהו אחר, והקרח הוא מקום שבו אפשר לנשום דרכו, לעבד, להתגבר, לקבל פרספקטיבה חדשה.

בקרח, אנחנו עובדים דרך כל אלה – מוצאים חוסן, רוגע, ורגע של שקט.

Let me introduce myself! Hi, I’m Fulvia (pronounced full-vee-ah) Garini.

I’m an Australian-born and grown Italian professional circus artist. I came to Israel over a decade and a half ago and never left ;)

I’ve been plunging myself in ice water and doing breathwork for over 5 years, and when I started people thought I was either crazy or weird - both of those might be true but I was that way before I started cold plunges!

I experienced the profound benefits of these practices firsthand and that inspired me to share them with others.

As a kid, I was often sick with bronchitis and tonsillitis, and later developed asthma. I loved sports and performing arts but struggled with low energy. I found my calling as a professional circus artist and the demands of the job led me on a quest for better health and performance. Discovering cold water therapy and breathwork was a game-changer, and I've since dedicated myself to mastering and teaching these methods.

In the last few years I've taken a deep dive into the world of breath and ice, I’ve learned and practiced many breathwork methods and disciplines and got my certification in Cold Water Therapy, Oxygen Advantage and Pranayama.

What started as a personal journey to improve my performance and wellness has transformed into a mission to help others achieve the same.

My goal is to open the door for people to find their own wellness, resilience and peak performance and build a positive community around this. I hope you’ll join me in this journey!

Entering an ice bath isn’t just about jumping in; it’s a journey that requires thoughtful preparation of both body and mind.

In our workshops, the experience begins long before the plunge. Mindful movement before the ice calms the mind, grounding us in the present moment.

We warm up the body and open our breathing system before transitioning into focused breathwork, ensuring every part of you is ready for the cold.

This preparation turns what could be a shocking experience into a powerful practice of resilience and peace.
