+972502211600 Dr. Orwa Nasser is an ophthalmologist and he is a specialist in cornea, cataract, anterior
segment of the eye and refractive surgery, and also a specialist in pediatric ophthalmology,
strabismus and nystagmus. Dr. Nasser treats and operates on corneal diseases and performs corneal transplants of
different types (PKP, DMEK, DSEK), cataract surgery, complex cataract surgeries, scleral
lens fixation, refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK, TRANS-PRK, LASEK), premium lens
transplantation, iris repairs, and eye trauma. Dr. Nasser treats and operates on pediatric eye conditions. He also operates on and treats
adult and pediatric strabismus and nystagmus cases. Moreover, Dr. Nasser treats and
operates on cataracts in children, glaucoma in children, hereditary eye diseases and
traumatic eye injuries in children. Dr. Nasser is an active member of national and international scientific organizations such as
the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the Cornea Society, the American
Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), the International Society of
Refractive Surgery (ISRS), the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and
Strabismus (AAPOS), the World Society of Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus
(WSPOS), the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO), Israel Ophthalmology
Society (IOS) and other organizations. Dr. Nasser is active academically and has a number of studies and publications. He also
attends many global and national ophthalmology conferences during which he gives lectures
and presents his research work. In addition, Dr. Nasser is a reviewer in scientific journals
such as the Cornea journal, Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (JPOS) journal, and
more.

At meeting, where I was honored to serve as both a speaker and course instructor.
It was great reconnecting with so many friends, mentors, and colleagues from around the world . Sharing knowledge, ideas, and memories reminded me how strong and inspiring our global ophthalmology community is.
Grateful for the opportunity to contribute, learn, and most importantly, reunite with wonderful friends from all over the world who continue to shape and elevate our field.

It was a true pleasure to work alongside Dr. Nina Goyal, MD, FACS , our exceptional Senior Instructor, and a team of outstanding colleagues, to serve as an instructor in the course “Basic Phacoemulsification for Cataract Surgery” at the American Academy of Ophthalmology 2025 Annual Meeting, for the second year in a row.

The course was a tremendous success, participants were enthusiastic, engaged, and eager to refine their surgical skills. Seeing how much they learned and enjoyed the session was incredibly rewarding.

Grateful to be part of this educational mission, helping the next generation of cataract surgeons gain confidence in their technique.

היה תענוג אמיתי לעבוד לצד ד״ר נינה גויל, רופאה בכירה (MD, FACS), המדריכה הבכירה יוצאת הדופן שלנו, וצוות עמיתים מצטיינים, ולשמש כמדריך בקורס "Phacoemulsification בסיסי לניתוח קטרקט" במסגרת הכנס השנתי של האקדמיה האמריקאית לרפואת עיניים (AAO) לשנת 2025, זו השנה השנייה ברציפות.

הקורס היה הצלחה גדולה — המשתתפים היו נלהבים, מעורבים, ונחושים לשפר את כישורי הניתוח שלהם. לראות כמה הם למדו ונהנו מהמפגש היה מתגמל בצורה יוצאת דופן.

אני אסיר תודה להיות חלק משליחות חינוכית זו, המסייעת לדור הבא של מנתחי הקטרקט לרכוש ביטחון בטכניקה שלהם.

لقد كان من دواعي سروري الحقيقي العمل إلى جانب الدكتورة نينا غويال، حاصلة على الدكتوراه في الطب وعضوة الكلية الأمريكية للجراحين (MD, FACS)، مدرّستنا البارزة والمتميزة، ومع فريق من الزملاء الرائعين، وذلك كمدرّب في دورة "استحلاب العدسة الأساسي لجراحة الساد" ضمن الاجتماع السنوي لعام 2025 للأكاديمية الأمريكية لطب العيون، وللسنة الثانية على التوالي.

لقد كانت الدورة ناجحة للغاية، حيث أبدى المشاركون حماسًا كبيرًا، وتفاعلوا بإيجابية، وكانوا متشوقين لتطوير مهاراتهم الجراحية. كان من المجزي جدًا رؤية مدى استفادتهم واستمتاعهم بالجلسة.

أنا ممتن لكوني جزءًا من هذه المهمة التعليمية، التي تهدف إلى مساعدة الجيل القادم من جراحي الساد على اكتساب الثقة في تقنياتهم.

It was a true honor to serve as Senior Instructor for our course on Cataract Surgery in Keratoconus during the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) 2025 Annual Meeting.

Alongside two world-renowned co-instructors, Dr. William Trattler, MD and @ Dr. David Cooke we explored the latest insights, techniques, and decision-making strategies for managing cataract surgery in eyes with keratoconus — a topic that continues to challenge and inspire refractive and cataract surgeons worldwide.

I am deeply grateful for the interactive discussions, the positive feedback, and the chance to share knowledge with such a passionate audience.

היה לי כבוד גדול להיות מדריך בכיר בקורס ניתוחי קטרקט בקרטוקונוס במהלך הכנס השנתי של האקדמיה האמריקאית לרפואת עיניים (AAO) לשנת 2025.

تشرّفت بإلقاء محاضرات علمية وبلقاء زملاء وخبراء من أكثر من ٣٧ دولة من مختلف أنحاء العالم 🌎.
تبادل الخبرات والمعرفة مع هذه النخبة من الأطباء كان تجربة ملهمة ومثمرة 💡👁️

שמחתי מאוד להשתתף בכנס העולמי לרפואת עיניים בטביליסי 🇬🇪, בהזמנה נדיבה מאגודת רופאי העיניים של גאורגיה.
הייתה לי הזכות להרצות ולפגוש עמיתים ומומחים מיותר מ־37 מדינות מרחבי העולם 🌎.
החלפת הידע והניסיון עם קבוצה מכובדת זו של רופאים הייתה חוויה מעוררת השראה ופורה במיוחד 💡👁️
