For 15 years, we’ve been partnering with SodaStream Israel | סודהסטרים SodaStream USA, part of PepsiCo, in the design and development of sparkling water makers for the global market.

In the ENSO project, we had the privilege to collaborate with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, one of the most influential and respected designers in the world in recent times.

Fukasawa’s minimalist and precise design language required a deep and thoughtful engineering process, developed in close collaboration with the SodaStream team.
For us, it was an opportunity to apply years of accumulated experience and translate them into precise work that honors the principles of Japanese design.
User experience played a central role, demanding the development of complex, almost invisible mechanisms that seamlessly integrate with the clean lines of Enso.

Behind the scenes, we managed a seven-hour time difference cross-continental collaboration, with an ongoing exchange that led to rich dialogue, mutual learning, and professional respect.
We truly enjoyed working alongside outstanding colleagues and getting to know the Japanese work culture, defined by precision, attention to detail, and just the right amount of flexibility.
In the end, this project stands as a testament to a long-term partnership built on trust, dialogue, and a shared pursuit of excellence.

Designers, engineers, clay, and Mexican food- that’s what a true Tamooz evening looks like.

Hagai, our Head of Development (and a few other things), welcomed us into his home studio and opened the door to a world of material, texture, temperature, a pottery wheel, and yes, plenty of mold-making.
We know a thing or two about molds, but this time we were the clients: each of us chose, planned, and crafted our own mold, holiday gifts born of hands-on work and shared inspiration.
Between tacos, tortillas, and margaritas, we were reminded how much we love to get our hands dirty, to sculpt, to feel the material, and to reconnect with the joy of creation, especially with something as warm and forgiving as clay.
Here’s a small glimpse of an evening that set the tone for our New Year.

Markers, sticky notes, soda fiilled glasses piling up, music, odd games- “Impossible” is not a reaction to any idea

Brainstorming always starts with order and ends in beautiful chaos.
Some thoughts are bizarre, some familiar, but once a real idea lands- you feel it.

Dolphin Liberty 600 represents a new generation of cordless pool robots by Maytronics , powered by external inductive charging and designed for complete autonomous coverage.
At the studio, we translated this mechanical freedom into a clean, coherent design language, carefully refining each point of interaction between user and machine.
As part of Maytronics’ Liberty series, the product merges a technological visual identity with practical functionality. A transparent cover provides immediate insight into the filter’s status, while integrated lighting communicates the robot’s operating mode. The user interface was shaped to ensure clarity, precision, and an intuitive experience.
The adoption of external inductive charging enabled a streamlined form with no exposed connections, enhancing both durability and environmental resistance. This seamless integration of structure and function is the result of close collaboration between our design team and Maytronics’ engineers.

Tamooz UX & Apa Wellness

Apa Wellness is an Israeli startup leading a revolution in aquatic fitness and rehabilitation through innovative resistance-based training in water.
The platform was originally invented and developed by the company’s founder and industrial designer, .ventura.apa , a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, inspired by his personal rehabilitation journey.

During early prototyping stages, Tamooz took part in the unique design process together with the Apa team, contributing to the development of the digital user experience – including onboarding flows, application screens, and interface design.

We worked on creating an intuitive and supportive recovery journey that integrates physical movement with personalized digital guidance.
The collaboration also included professional support from Dr. Osnat Fliess-Douer and the inventor himself.
This partnership extended into the early-stage design and development of advanced prototypes, paving the way toward Apa’s first product – part of a broader platform offering innovative solutions for aquatic movement, health, fitness, and rehabilitation .

Tamooz UXUI & ansā

A single- dose coffee roaster.
ansā, an Israeli startup, has developed a patent-pending roasting technology that uses an innovative method of dielectric heating.
A unified system that merges advanced technology with tactile cues from traditional roasting. The physical machine and digital interface were developed in parallel, combining intuitive onboarding, roast control, real-time feedback, and scheduling — all through a visual language that ties sensory ritual to digital clarity.

We observe behavior before we define features. Studing how people navigate, hesitate, reach, and respond reveals the silent logic behind everyday interactions.
From there, we shape interfaces that feel less like tools, and more like extensions of intent.

“We’ll roast the beans together, have a cup of coffee, then we talk.”
That’s how our first meeting with ansā team started.

ansā is an Israeli startup with a fresh take on coffee consumption.
Instead of buying roasted beans, users are invited to roast green coffee beans on the spot, just seconds before brewing. The company’s model emphasizes direct sourcing from farmers, roasting only on demand, and creating a more sustainable, farmer-supportive coffee ecosystem.

Tamooz’s collaboration with ansā focused on designing an unified and holistic system. We supported the project from early concept development to the launch of two product lines: a commercial machine for office spaces, and a personal unit for home use.

Coming from industrial design, our UX process begins with the physical environment, the constraints of office kitchens, the rituals of daily use, and the user’s expectations from a product that looks and behaves differently than any coffee experience they’ve seen before.

The challenge was to create a cohesive experience across hardware and software:
a physical product that combines advanced technology with cultural and tactile cues from traditional roasting, achieving a presence that is both familiar and forward-thinking, and a digital interface that enables intuitive onboarding, precise roast profiling, real-time feedback, status tracking, and scheduling, all through a visual language that unites sensory ritual with digital clarity. And the result?

A system where every part, physical and digital, works as seamlessly as the ritual itself.
