This week's episode of the Things I want my Daughters to Know Podcast is a very powerful personal story of overcoming an endometriosis diagnosis with Jessa Reynolds.

This is the second time I have had a guest share their personal experience with this condition and that's because women are just not talking enough about it.

In this conversation we explore the systemic failures in women’s healthcare from dismissive doctors to barriers in accessing treatment and the life-altering decisions many women face, such as multiple surgeries or hysterectomy.

Jessa’s open and honest story sheds light on the urgent need for better education, advocacy, and compassionate care for women with endometriosis.

I have two questions for you
1. Are you asking any Menopause related questions in your coaching or therapy sessions?
2. Do you understand how Menopause is showing up for your clients and impacting the reason why they came to you in the first place?

I created my Menopause Informed Training Program specifically for coaches and therapist so that you could set yourself apart from your colleagues by having in-depth Menopause knowledge, ask the right questions and be able to connect the dots to support your clients in a more profound way.

This training program is NOT a four hour masterclass that covers the basics about symptoms and HRT.
This is a deep dive into the science, biology, hormones, and symptoms of menopause with a very practical application piece, case study review, mentoring and understanding of how to apply this in client sessions.

New cohort starts 11th November

If you are a coach or therapist working with women 40+, you might be wondering… Do I really need a specialist menopause training to help my clients?

🎦 You may have listened to some podcasts, read some books, watched Oprah talk about menopause.

But is this really enough?

Imagine this: Three months from now, you’re sitting with a client who’s been struggling with unexplained anxiety, exhaustion, new relationship challenges or motivation loss. Instead of feeling unsure and trying to connect the dots, you immediately recognize what’s happening.

✅ You confidently name what she’s experiencing and why it feels different this time.
✅ You give her language and an explanation for her symptoms—validating what she’s been feeling all along.
✅ You provide tools and guidance that finally help her break free from the cycle.

🎉 And the best part? She finally feels seen, heard and understood.
That’s the power of being Menopause Informed.

When you join the Menopause Informed Training Program, you’ll walk away with:
✖️ A strong menopause-informed language and knowledge that helps your clients feel validated and empowered
✖️ Deep confidence in your ability to support midlife women effectively
✖️ Practical skills to address menopause-related challenges in therapy or coaching
✖️ Supervision, mentorship, and case study reviews—so you can apply your learning in real time

The transformation isn’t just for your clients—it’s for YOU, too.

You’ll no longer second-guess whether menopause is a factor. You’ll know exactly how to navigate these conversations and help your clients thrive.

🎯 This is the level of confidence and competence you deserve to upgrade your professional practice.

📢 Enrollment for the Menopause Informed Training Program is open now.

Are you supporting your clients in the best way, or are you missing a piece of your client's story?

Even if you have done lots of professional training and CPD hours, there is still a good chance there is ONE piece of the puzzle that you have never been told about or has never come up!!

🎯If you are a coach working with women struggling with big life decisions, assessing relationships, feeling overwhelmed and burnt out, or who want to feel more comfortable in their body, but you have NEVER thought about the role that peri-menopause or menopause is playing in your client's journey, then you are actually not looking at the WHOLE PICTURE!

One of the myths of menopause is that it is just a reproductive experience, meaning it's all about your periods stopping and your reproductive hormones declining.

The reality of menopause is much more complicated.
And that's because your reproductive hormones, those hormones that EVERYONE is talking about - eostrogen, progesterone and testosterone - are NOT just responsible for your reproductive cycle.

They are part of a much larger endocrine system, they have LOTS of jobs in your body, and they interact with other hormones and, as they fluctuate, have major knock on effects in the whole body.

As a coach, being menopause informed is not a luxury - today it is a necessity if you want to truly understand what your clients are experiencing. AND enhance their healing journey.

This is exactly why I created the Menopause Informed Training Program.

This 10 week Live program combines both the theory, science and symptoms of menopause AND the practical application with your clients.

This is NOT another 3 hour superficial training talking about menopause. This training program takes a deep dive into the profound and unexpected ways menopause is showing up and how it impacts your clients physically, emotionally and mentally.

New cohort starts 11th November and the group is limited to ONLY 10 participants.

Episode 7 of the Things I want my Daughters to Know Podcast is out today and I was so honoured to talk with one of the big names in the UK Menopause space, Rachel Lankester
Rachel is one of those people who is shaking up the menopause conversation and is not accepting existing narratives.

In this episode we talk about reframing the menopause experience,
why lifestyle, stress management and community are as powerful as hormone therapy, calling out misinformation in the menopause space and how women can reclaim midlife as a time of power, purpose, and leadership.

I loved this conversation - I am sure you will too!

I love the London Underground announcements.
They’re always witty and on point.
And this one, posted in honour of Menopause Awareness Day, gives me all the feels.
Because it’s a sign that menopause is finally a real, relevant, and open topic of conversation. 🙌

🎯 But… there’s a BIG problem with it too.
Where is the list of all the AMAZING things that happen in menopause?

If we keep talking only about the struggle — the symptoms, the suffering, the things that “go wrong” — we miss the whole other side of this story.

🌈 Where is the conversation about how amazing menopause is, about the opportunities, the potential?
Menopause isn’t just about what’s ending!
It’s also about what’s emerging — the freedom, the growth, the confidence, the clarity.

When we, as practitioners, only see menopause through the lens of struggle, we risk reinforcing the very narrative that keeps women feeling frustrated, suffering and broken.

When menopause is continually framed as a time of loss or decline, we reinforce a cultural narrative that tells women their value diminishes with age.

As practitioners, we have an opportunity — and a responsibility — to shift that narrative.

To move beyond symptom management and start helping women reclaim menopause as a powerful life transition.

🩷 That’s why I created the Menopause Informed Training Program, a professional training designed for therapists, coaches, and wellness practitioners who want to bring a deeper, menopause-aware perspective to their work.

Because when you understand what’s really going on for your midlife clients, you can facilitate transformation at an entirely new level.

One area that I know is not talked about enough is the support that midlife women are getting from a range of practitioners.

As menopausal women struggle with different symptoms and experiences, they seek out the professionals who can help them.

👉 Going through a career crisis? Then, a business coach is going to be your first stop.
👉 If you are wondering why your relationship is changing and you don't enjoy being with your partner, then a relationship or intimacy coach is what you need.
👉 Feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and burnout by "everything"? Then you will probably be looking for a life coach.
👉 And if you are gaining weight despite doing everything right, then a dietician or fitness coach is going to be where you choose to invest.

📢 However, if you are one of these therapists, coaches or practitioners, becoming menopause-informed is going to be an essential addition to your skill set.

That's because without understanding HOW menopause is showing up for your client, impacting her experiences and affecting her mental, physical and emotional health, you are missing a BIG piece of her story.

The Menopause-Informed Training (MIT) gives you the language, frameworks, and tools to confidently support peri- to post-menopause clients without guessing or tip-toeing.

What you’ll walk away with:
🩷 A clear and deep menopause language you can apply to any professional modality
🩷 Clear tools and session structures that deepen your clients' outcomes
🩷 Setting yourself apart from colleagues as the go-to menopause informed practitioner who achieves better results for their clients!

You can't afford to ignore the role that menopause is playing in your client's story!

📢 Happy World Menopause Day

So much of the menopause conversation is focused on the women experiencing menopause - the symptoms, the hormones, the treatment options.

But what about the practitioners working with peri-menopausal and menopause women.

The life coaches
The relationship coaches
The business coaches
The personal tainers
The nutritionists
The therapists
The practitioners who don't even realise how menopause is showing up for their clients.

If you’ve ever thought
💭 “I know my clients are in midlife, but I don’t know enough about menopause to help.”
💭 “I wish I understood how hormones were affecting what I’m seeing in sessions.”
💭 “I want to be menopause-informed, but I don’t know where to start.”

Then this is for you.
You have a protocol, skills, practical tools and a framework that you take your client through.

But if you are not bringing a menopause language and perspective to the conversation you are missing a major piece of what is going on for your client.

Join me on Sunday 19th October (TOMORROW!) 11AM BST here for a live conversation “The Missing Link in Supporting Midlife Clients”, a special International Menopause Awareness Month event for coaches and therapists.

We’ll explore:
🔹 How hormonal changes shape your client’s emotions, motivation, and mindset
🔹 The blind spots traditional training overlooks
🔹 How to integrate menopause awareness into your existing tools
🔹 Why this knowledge positions you as a more confident, trusted menopause informed practitioner.

Looking forward to seeing you there🩷
