Dr. Mike Gropper Dr. Gropper has a distinguished career in social work education, research, management, and clinical practice.

Israeli and New York State licensed American trained .cognitive-behavioral Marital, Child and Adult psychotherapist with 30 years + expertise in treating anxiety and panic, OCD, depression and bipolar disorder, trauma and addictions. Dr. Michael Gropper is an American trained clinical social worker and psychologist in private practice for more than 35 years who moved to Israel from New York City in 1986. More recently, he received special recognition by the faculty of the Object Relations Institute in NYC on the subject of undetected bipolar disorder in clinical practice. Dr. Gropper has held academic positions at Bar Ilan University School of Social Work, Haifa University School of Social Work, Downstate Medical Center Department of Family Medicine in Brooklyn, NY, and Mt. Sinai Medical Center Department of Community Medicine in New York. Dr. Gropper was a senior consultant to the director of the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services in NYC. and to Touro College Graduate School of Social Work. Dr. Gropper is recognized by the Israel National Anti-drug Authority as an expert in treating addictive disorders. Dr. Gropper writes a highly acclaimed ‘psychology’ column for the Jerusalem Post. Dr. Gropper is listed by the American Embassy as a psychotherapy provider for Americans living in Israel. Dr. Gropper sees clients both in Raanana and Jerusalem. He also conducts Skype therapy sessions upon request, making his treatment available to people living outside of Israel or too far away from his Israel locations.
