"The Tree of Fairness”🌳:
Once upon a time, in a vast forest, a wise old owl decided to test the intelligence of all the animals.
He gathered an elephant, a monkey, a rabbit, a deer, a crow, a mouse, and a fish.
“Today,” the owl announced, “we shall have a fair exam. Everyone must climb that tree. Whoever reaches the top first will be declared the wisest of all.”
The monkey leapt up effortlessly and reached the top with joy.
The rabbit tried but slipped halfway.
The deer could not even get a grip.
The elephant looked helpless — his size made it impossible.
The crow flew up easily but was told, “No flying! Only climbing.”
The mouse tried, failed, and fell down exhausted.
And the poor fish… could only flap and gasp, wondering why anyone would think climbing a tree proved wisdom.
As the day ended, the owl realized his mistake.
Each animal had a unique strength — the deer could run faster than the wind,
the elephant could move mountains,
the crow could soar across the sky,
the fish could glide through water like poetry,
and the monkey could dance among the trees.
But when measured by one narrow test, most appeared foolish.
So, the owl tore up his test scroll and said;
“Wisdom is not in doing what others can, but in knowing and nurturing what only you can.”
In our world, schools, workplaces, and even families often judge everyone by the same standard — grades, jobs, or skills — ignoring individual talents.
We push the artist to become an engineer, the poet to chase numbers, and the dreamer to fit into molds not meant for them.
True fairness is not about making everyone take the same test —It’s about giving everyone the right environment to show their unique brilliance.
🌳 Takeaway:
Everyone shines in their own way — not all greatness looks the same.
A fish isn’t meant to climb, just as a bird isn’t meant to swim.
Fairness isn’t giving everyone the same task, but the same opportunity to grow.
True wisdom lies in celebrating differences, not comparing them.🤍
