NorthMed Innovation Center mission is to empower Arab entrepreneurs in Israel focusing on MedTech and Digital Health.

NortMed Innovation Center offers entrepreneurship training and mentoring programs to local entrepreneurs, providing a holistic environment and professional advice. In addition, it will promote placement of technological personnel with an emphasis on integrating employees and entrepreneurs from the Arab society into companies in the fields of medical devices, digital health and software. Our mission is to increase development and investment in entrepreneurship in peripheral areas and we strive to balance the representation of Arab society in the life science, medical device and technology sectors. The Innovation Center, alongside the MEDX Accelerator and Incubator create a unique ecosystem which aims to stimulate change from within. By working closely with our partners, we work on identifying local talent, to provide the required support to transform ideas into successful companies. Our employment center will train and place skilled employees in high-demand Med-Tech and technology professions, with the aim to facilitate the opening of local branches in the Sakhnin Valley. NorthMed is paving the road for the Arab community to the digital health industry. We help do that by cooperating with highly reputable health researchers and provide the entrepreneurs with access to data and connecting with strategics partners.

نورثمد - حيث تنمو الأفكار 🌱
وها هي تأخذ شكلاً جديدًا...
يعمل مركز نورثمد للابتكار على بناء منظومة تكنولوجية أقوى وأكثر شمولًا في شمال البلاد، مع تركيز خاص على تمكين روّاد ورائدات الأعمال, دعم المهندسين في سيرورتهن المهنية وتعزيز التجديد والابتكار في المجتمع العربي.
نحن نربط بين الأشخاص، الأفكار والفرص: من مرافقة المؤسسين في المراحل الأولى، إلى تطوير مشاريع صحية متقدمة، ووصولًا إلى خلق شركات ناشئة ناجحة، بالإضافة إلى تقديم برامج تدريبية تؤهلهم ليصبحوا روّاد أعمال متميزين.
ومن خلال مركز التوظيف في نورثمد، نوفّر فرص عمل حقيقية عبر فتح المجال أمام المهندسين العرب للعمل في قطاع الهايتك، واستضافة نشاطات للشركات داخل المركز، بهدف تعزيز قطاع الهايتك في الشمال وفي المجتمع العربي تحديدًا.
ما الذي يميزنا؟ نهجنا الإنساني - فهم جوهر كل فكرة، دعمها، ومساعدتها على النمو في البيئة المناسبة. نحن لا نتحدث عن التأثير؛ نحن نصنعه. ورغم فخرنا بما حققناه حتى الآن، إلّا أن تركيزنا منصبّ بشكل أكبر على ما ينتظرنا: بناء مجتمع ابتكار قوي، تعزيز التوظيف ومجالات العمل للمهندسين في المجتمع العربي وصياغة مستقبل أكثر صحّة وتجديدًا لشمال البلاد.

في إطار مشاركة نورثمد في الفعاليات المهنية والمجتمعية بهدف تطوير مركز التشغيل، شاركت لينا كناعنة، مديرة مركز التشغيل في نورثمد، في مؤتمر الفنار السنوي في الناصرة، الذي تناول محاور مهنية واجتماعية متعلقة بتطوير المجتمع ودعم القوى العاملة.

استقبلنا في مركز NorthMed أعضاء من مؤسسة Russell Berrie، الشريك الداعم لبرامج بورتلاند، في زيارة مميّزة للتعرّف على المشاريع التي يُموّلونها ويُسهمون في تطويرها, سواء في مجال التكنولوجيا الطبية (MedTech) أو في برامج توظيف المهندسين في شمال البلاد وفي المجتمع العربي.

خلال الزيارة، التقى الوفد بفريق NorthMed، المهندسين وروّاد الأعمال الذين شاركوا تجاربهم حول التحديات التي واجهوها، الإصرار الذي قادهم والنجاحات التي حققوها، إضافةً إلى أهمية التعاون في دفع الابتكار قُدماً.

كل الشكر لمؤسسة Russell Berrie على دعمها المستمر، وتمكينها للمجتمع، وتعزيزها لبيئة ابتكار شاملة ومتقدمة.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting 60 participants at NorthMed Innovation Center for an engaging and insightful session titled:
