Our Story
We've all heard how simple it is. All you need to do is eat lots of fruit and veg, avoid processed foods, switch white flour to wholegrain, drink around 2L of water per day avoiding soft drinks, and partake in physical exercise for a minimum of 30 minutes at least 3 times a week. And bingo, you're healthy.
The information required to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle is readily available and not that complex, yet so many of us struggle to do this.
I take a holistic approach to health and wellness. Upon completion a brief health survey I will assist you in identifying and formulating achievable health goals for the short, mid and long-term.
These health goals are broken down into small manageable steps using a client centered approach. At each meeting we will review the previous week's achievements, track progress, identify any potential roadblocks and jointly develop strategies to overcome them. Issues often covered are stress management, diet, exercise and weight loss.
