What a gift when a dream becomes reality.
Sharing the passion of oncology acupuncture at the SIO Conference at Harvard Medical School felt like a milestone on this journey.

One of the most moving moments was hearing an oncologist stand up and share: “My life was saved by acupuncture.”
She spoke about how acupuncture helped her recover from declining kidney function during treatment — a story of hope that touched everyone in the room.

These are the moments that remind me why we do what we do.
Bridging science, compassion, and healing — and bringing Integrative Oncology forward for patients who need every ray of support.

🙏 Grateful for this community and inspired for the future.

What to do when you don’t know what to do —
That was the title of my lecture, which began by interviewing 20 practitioners on how they navigate uncertainty in their clinical work.

Thank you to for capturing and sharing these moments from the Polish TCM Association’s special Congress in Krakow last weekend. It was a joy to reconnect, learn, and share this talk once again — this time with such a vibrant and dedicated community.

🎥 The full lecture is also available for free on the TCM Academy:

With the presidency of the ETCMA comes both responsibility and excitement.

We just wrapped up an inspiring in-person Executive Committee meeting in Athens — two days of hard work, big ideas, and true team spirit.

Grateful to Adrianne Waldt Susan Evans , Gretha Wouda-Krist, Paulina Kryszkiewicz, Ben Saez, and Ricardo Teixeira. Together we are helping to shape the future of our medicine and its power to heal.

I was honored to be invited and to present at the congress of the British Council of Acupuncture, where I also had the pleasure of reconnecting with old friends.
One of the most inspiring is Elisabeth Rochat de la Vallée – a true master and one of the most profound Sinologists of our time.

Her lecture beautifully explored the cycles of life and the process of aging, using the image of bamboo – strong yet flexible, deeply rooted yet ever-growing – as a symbol of graceful aging and inner resilience.

I also took part in two panels discussing how these cycles are reflected in Traditional Chinese Medicine, both in classical philosophy and clinical application.

Grateful for the opportunity, the inspiration, and the rich exchange of knowledge

The article discusses the future of the TCM Congress here in Rothenburg, a place that has become so meaningful to many of us over the years.

It’s a special feeling to be part of something that not only honors tradition but also helps shape the future of our field.

I’m in the beautiful town of Rothenburg for the 56th TCM Congress—the largest of its kind in Europe, organized by AGTCM. This year is especially meaningful for me, as it marks the 20th consecutive year that I’ve had the honor of presenting here.

As President of the ETCMA (European Traditional Chinese Medicine Association), I also had the pleasure of taking part in official duties—including a fascinating meeting on the intersection of AI and TCM.

More to come… but first, a glimpse of the beauty of this place and the vibrant energy of the congress!
