Katri Siipola Cohen - Movement and Touch

Katri Siipola Cohen - Movement and Touch Treatments in the ancient technique of Ayurveda Seed massage therapy and sensory-somatic Ilan Lev Method. Treatments take place in Pardes Hana.

Mindful and embodying movement/dance classes and workshops for groups and individuals. Ayurverdic massage is an ancient and deep massage technique that beyond pleasure and physical & mental relaxation brings all body systems into balance. During Ayurverdic massage I use Sesame oil for the relaxation of muscles, detoxification and softening of the skin, together with Kalamus root powder that stimulates blood circulation and lymphatic system as well as makes gentle exfoliation for the skin. The treatment combines deep massage, stretches for joints, breathing and relaxation. Duration: 90min

Ilan Lev method works with improving human capabilities and removal of functional difficulties. Treatments offer great help for pain, injuries, skeletal/ nerves/ joint/ body-circulation issues as well as physical or emotional traumas and chronic pains. It also treats motor dysfunction, mental limitations and solves issues concerning physical disabilities or handicaps. During a treatment session the patient is lying fully dressed in comfortable clothing on a treatment bed, as the practitioner brings movement into his/her body in various ways. Dialogue within the whole system is restored as movement returns to parts of the body where communication was cut-off or stopped. Duration: 60-90min (depending on the patient and his/her needs)

Treatments are suitable for anyone, regardless of age, shape or ones physical condition. With a lot of love, you are welcome!
