State Level RED RUN 2025

The Red Run initiative is a sports-based campaign by the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO) to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS prevention, combat stigma, and encourage youth involvement.

As part of this National Campaign the State level Red Run 2025 competition of 10km run was held on 25th October, 2025 at Umakanta Academy Ground involving the Students from various Degree Colleges, Technical Colleges, Universities from all the districts of our State.

The State level programme was inaugurated by Sri Tinku Roy, the Honorable Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs,Tripura. Other dignitaries like Secretary Health, Secretary Youth Affairs, DM West District, SP West District, Directors from the Department of Health, Family Welfare, Youth Affairs, Secondary Education and Project Director, Tripura SACS all were present in that occasion.

We all together pledged for Drugs & HIV/AIDS free, stigma free Tripura. Tripura State AIDS Control Society
