🔴 "Ayurveda Doctor" — Are you satisfied with your salary or working hours?
It's time we ask the tough questions.
👉 After 5.5 to 7 years of rigorous study — including modern medicine, classical Ayurvedic texts, and clinical training — most BAMS doctors in India are offered:
📍 ₹26,000 – ₹32,000 in Govt. contractual jobs (e.g., UP & Rajasthan)
📍 ₹20,000 – ₹35,000 in most private clinics and hospitals
💬 And what about working hours?
10–12 hours a day, no overtime, no dignity, no recognition.
This is not okay.
This is not sustainable.
And most importantly — this is not respectful to our ancient medical system and the professionals keeping it alive.
Who is responsible?
✅ The authorities for creating and maintaining poor pay structures.
✅ And we Ayurvedic doctors — for staying silent for too long.
📢 We are now demanding:
1. Minimum ₹50,000/month salary for Ayurvedic doctors
2. Maximum 8-hour working day
3. Extra pay for extra duty hours
4. Equal respect and opportunity in the healthcare ecosystem
This is not a demand for luxury.
This is a call for justice — for our work, our worth, and our wisdom.
