Vitiligo is a very common pigmentary disorder that has profound pyscho-socio-cultural impact on both patients and family members. I had done my thesis exploring this impact on family members at AIIMS, New Delhi.
Here is a young patient brought in by her worried grandfather to the clinic for treatment. A lot of myths and confusion revolves around vitiligo and it's treatment and a lot of dietary restrictions are adopted by the family to cure the disease.
This patient had a stable disease for past 2 year, but wasn't showing any repigmentation. This is the response after 2 months of medical treatment. She is still under regular followup, and now the grandfather feels relatively relieved.

Rosacea makes the skin extremely sensitive and therefore, many things can cause the flare. It's important to know the triggers and minimise them for better rosacea control.
Nowadays, we see a lot of woman who have been using OTC fariness creams, that causes rosacea like features due to presence of topical steroids in them.
Avoid the use of such creams to keep your skin healthy. Skin color can't be changed, it's determined by the genetics, and if something claims to do so, you should know that it comes at the expense of worsening your skin health.
