Two more kidney transplants were done Synergy Plus Hospital Agra on 13th August 2022. Both were ABO compatible transplants and in both cases, donors were "near relatives" - mother in first case and father in the other.

The peri-operative period was uneventful and both donors and recipients are doing well with normal renal function at the first post transplant OPD visit.

😖SCIATICA😖

One of the things that really boils my p**s is when people are told they have sciatica when they clearly don’t

Leg pain with back pain is very common, but sciatica is actually very rare!

Only about 5-10% of all posterior leg pain is due to ‘sciatica’

The other 90% is somatic leg pain

Telling people they have sciatica when they don’t is not only inaccurate and poor clinical reasoning, it could also be potentially harmful, and hinder someone’s progress

Being told you have leg pain because of a compressed or irritated nerve can be scary as hell compared to being told you have leg pain due to an irritated back muscle or joint

Remember sciatica is rare, somatic leg pain is common!
