ONE OF THE PRIME CAUSES OF ANEMIA IN INFANTS IS TOO MUCH INTAKE OF MILK

Well it might surprise many parents and grandparents as well, but after a certain age, means when ur baby is 6 month and beyond, too much of intake of milk (mothers milk or top feed) can be the primary cause of Iron deficiency pertaining to anemia. So once your baby is half yr old start complementary feeding under the guidance of your pediatrician. And start reducing milk intake of ur baby gradually. It is not going to happen overnight. But slowly and steadily u can reduce the milk take over a period of time. P.S continue breast feeding till 2 years of age
