Mayank completed MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University,Bangalore and MS from prestigious Indira Gandhi Government Medical College,Shimla. After post-graduation did advance training at LV Prasad Eye Institute,Hyderabad and spent three years of rigorous learning training and working. During the stay institutional core values of patient first, excellence, equity, integrity and togetherness were imbibed within.
His hardwork and dedication towards his patients and his work was acknowledged by Dr GN Rao founder and Director of LV Prasad by declaring him the first ever “Best Outgoing Fellow of LVPEI”. Later Mayank got promoted to clinical associate in the institute the first ever one of a kind promotion and a legacy was started thereafter.
Expertise in comprehensive ophthalmic examination along with decision making and excellence in phacorefractive surgeries. He has performed thousands of surgical procedures like Phacoemulsification, LASIK ,SMILE,ICL,IPCL,PRK,SICS, Pterygiums, DCR, DCT,trabeculectomies,Botox,etc.
Worked with internationally renowned ophthalmologists like Dr Pravin Krishna , Dr Merle Fernandes , Dr Somashiela Murthy, Dr Jagadesh Reddy, Dr Sunita Chaurasia Dr Avinash Pathengay ,Dr Mukesh Taneja and Dr Bhupesh Bagga.
A great listener, counsellor for the patients a motivator for the staff hence can play various roles of doctor, director, leader, human, teacher, student and also an entertainer. Firmly believe that learning always goes on in life ready to learn, wherever, whenever and with whomsoever.
