Don't ignore symptoms, seek care in time for good outcomes
A 73-year-old female presented with pelvic pain and tenderness.
USG S/O: Large solid lesion in lower abdomen superior to urinary bladder, cystic/loculated fluid in right adnexa, minimal ascites – ? ovarian pathology.
She underwent staging laparotomy, radical hysterectomy, oophorectomy, omentectomy, and resection of uterus. A 0.655 kg ovarian mass was successfully removed.
Post-op ICU observation was uneventful, and the patient has recovered well and is discharged today
