Autoimmune Hepatitis doesn’t just affect the liver.

In many cases, it can impact other organs and lead to symptoms like joint pain, skin changes, menstrual irregularities, thyroid disorders, and even other autoimmune conditions.

Conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Sjögren’s syndrome, Ulcerative Colitis, Type 1 Diabetes, Vitiligo, Hemolytic Anemia, or low platelets can sometimes be associated.

If you are diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis, it’s important to monitor for these related symptoms and seek timely medical guidance.

Struggling with unexplained liver issues?

Autoimmune hepatitis can sometimes show no major symptoms, except raised SGPT or SGOT levels.

⚠️ Common liver symptoms may include:
• Jaundice (yellowing of eyes & skin)
• Heaviness, discomfort, or pain in the upper right abdomen
• Persistent itching
• Fatigue
• Swollen or enlarged liver on examination

Early detection matters.
If you notice these signs or abnormal liver reports, consult your doctor in time.

Feeling tired all the time? Don’t ignore it.

Autoimmune Hepatitis is a condition where the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks the liver. The symptoms can be mild at first and are often overlooked.

🔹 Constant fatigue or low energy
🔹 Feeling warm from inside without fever
🔹 Body aches or general discomfort
🔹 Unexplained weight gain or weight loss
🔹 Getting tired even after doing small tasks

These are called constitutional symptoms — general signs that something in the body isn’t right.

Because these symptoms seem “normal,” many people ignore them for months. Early diagnosis can help prevent serious liver damage.

👉 If you or someone you know has ongoing fatigue and these symptoms, consult a doctor and get proper tests done.

Autoimmune Hepatitis is more common than people think — and cases are increasing every year.

It can affect any age, any gender, any ethnicity.
But it’s seen 3–4 times more often in women and can be more severe in children and young adults.

It doesn’t always come with loud symptoms. Sometimes it appears suddenly and can seriously affect the liver.

If you or someone you know has:
• Unexplained fatigue
• Yellowing of eyes/skin
• Persistent liver test abnormalities

👉 Don’t ignore it. Early testing can make a huge difference.

Autoimmune Hepatitis is not just “normal liver weakness.”

It’s a condition where the body’s own immune system starts attacking the liver, and many people don’t even realize it until serious damage has already happened.

⚠️ It can affect any age group
👩 More common in women
📈 Cases are increasing
❗ Late diagnosis can lead to severe liver complications

Watch out for these symptoms:

• Constant fatigue
• Jaundice (yellowing of eyes/skin)
• Pain or heaviness on the right side of the abdomen
• Unexplained itching
• Body aches
• Sudden weakness

Many people ignore these signs thinking it’s just stress or weakness — but early detection can prevent major liver damage.

🩺 Proper testing and medical guidance can help manage the disease effectively.

What is Autoimmune Hepatitis? 🤔🩺

Autoimmune Hepatitis is a condition where the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks its own liver, causing inflammation and damage.

In this disease, the level of IgG (Immunoglobulin G) in the blood often increases 📈. A high IgG level can be a sign that the immune system is overactive.

When the liver is inflamed or damaged, certain test values rise:
🔴 SGPT (ALT)
🔴 SGOT (AST)
These are important markers that indicate liver inflammation.

If your reports show high SGPT, SGOT, and IgG, don’t ignore it. Early diagnosis and proper medical care can help protect your liver. ⏳

Healthy liver, healthy life ❤️

❗ “I don’t drink daily… I only drink occasionally.”
But if that “occasion” means too much, this Reel is for you ⚠️

🍺 What is Binge Drinking?
Within 2 hours:
👉 Men: 5 or more drinks
👉 Women: 4 or more drinks

🚨 Even occasional binge drinking is NOT safe
• Worsens fatty liver
• Can lead to alcohol-related hepatitis & cirrhosis
• Affects mental health
• Puts pressure on the heart
• Can cause dangerous rhythm problems (Holiday Heart Syndrome)
• Increases risk of accidents, falls & violence
• Leads to gut and digestive complications

👉 Drinking “once in a while” but drinking too much still damages your liver and other organs.

💛 Thinking of donating your liver? Here’s what the recovery looks like!

On average:
🛌 1–1.5 days in ICU – Your recovery is closely monitored after surgery.
🏠 3–5 days in a regular room – Normal diet, mobility, and confidence to go home are established.
✅ After 7 days – You’re discharged and follow up once. Once stitches are removed, no further doctor visits are needed.

You can resume your routine, travel, and enjoy life—just avoid heavy lifting for some time. No long-term meds, no constant follow-ups.

🙏 Safety first! Stay in touch with your medical team for any concerns. Your well-being matters most!
