This baby is nothing short of a miracle.

The mother first came to us at 32 weeks of pregnancy, diagnosed with Placenta Accreta Spectrum—one of the most life-threatening obstetric conditions, carrying a very high risk of massive hemorrhage, loss of uterus, multi-organ failure, and even maternal and fetal mortality.

From the very beginning, the situation was critical—not only for the baby, but also for the mother’s life and future fertility. Every single day of pregnancy carried risk. After intensive counseling, continuous monitoring, meticulous planning, and a highly coordinated team approach, we made the careful decision to extend the pregnancy safely up to 38 weeks, which itself was a major challenge.

With God’s grace and evidence-based surgical expertise, the delivery was performed successfully. The baby is healthy, the mother is stable, and most importantly—her uterus is safe, which is rarely possible in such high-risk cases.

Cases like these remind me why obstetrics demands courage, precision, and responsibility beyond routine care. Grateful to the entire medical team and thankful for the trust placed in us.

Did you know that pregnancy is often compared to a natural organ transplant? 🤯

In pregnancy, the baby carries 50% DNA from the father, yet the mother’s immune system does not reject it. Instead of weakening, the immune system becomes intelligently adaptive.

This happens because the placenta sends powerful biological signals, teaching the mother’s body what to protect and what to tolerate.
In medical science, this phenomenon is called immunological tolerance—one of the most fascinating examples of human biology.

Pregnancy is not just about creating life.
It is about the body evolving, adapting, and protecting life.

A true biological miracle.

Every second matters in the delivery room.
A normal delivery turned into a life-threatening emergency when the baby didn’t cry, lips turned blue, and the heartbeat started dropping.
Within seconds, our full team and pediatrician initiated CPR.
After 35–40 critical seconds, the baby cried—life restored.

Moments like these remind us: childbirth is unpredictable, and only a well-equipped hospital can save precious lives.
Because in medicine, seconds don’t pass—they decide life.

4:00 AM. An emergency case arrives.

The patient had delivered at home.
Her blood pressure and pulse were dangerously low.
There was severe bleeding because the placenta was retained inside.
The baby had low oxygen at birth.

We immediately removed the placenta and started blood transfusion to save the mother.

⚠️ Important pregnancy awareness:
If you feel:
• Tightening of the abdomen every 10 minutes or less
• Pain moving from back to front (labour pain)
• Water discharge / sudden leaking of fluid
• Bleeding from the va**na (even if painless)
• Reduced or no baby movements
• Severe lower abdominal pain or continuous pain
• Giddiness, fainting, or extreme weakness

These are signs of active labour / normal delivery — and delivery should happen only at a maternity center.

Hospitals have OT, blood, NICU, and emergency backup — because seconds matter.
Your safety and your baby’s life depend on it.

I still remember the mother of this child.
At 7 months of pregnancy, she came with placenta previa and heavy bleeding.
Fear in the room. Panic in the background.
Her husband was shouting. Every second mattered.

I advised immediate transfer — reach the hospital within 20 minutes.
The OT was prepared.
An emergency C-section was performed.

The baby was preterm, fragile, with breathing difficulties.
NICU stepped in. Every breath was fought for.
Every protocol followed. Every prayer silent.

Today, look at this baby — healthy, smiling, full of life.
Moments like these remind me why I chose this profession.

Medicine is not a 9–5 job.
It means midnight calls.
Missing family functions.
Carrying someone else’s fear as your own.

But the moment a patient says,
“You saved my life and my baby’s life,”
everything suddenly feels worth it. ❤️

At home, people often say pregnancy is simple.”
But what looks simple on the outside needs the highest level of care inside.

Pregnancy is frequently misunderstood as a routine phase of life.
If the baby is moving, everything is assumed to be normal.
Blood pressure is ignored. Sugar levels are skipped. Growth scans are postponed.
And the sentence everyone repeats is — “Don’t worry, everything is fine.”

The truth is different.

Many pregnancy complications begin silently.
High blood pressure, gestational diabetes, and fetal growth restriction can develop without pain, without warning signs, and without discomfort. By the time symptoms appear, the condition may already be serious.

Pregnancy is not only about reaching the delivery date.
It is about continuous monitoring, timely investigations, regular check-ups, and strict follow-up of medical advice.

Every test has a purpose.
Every scan tells a story.
Every appointment matters.

A small delay, a skipped report, or ignoring medical advice can change outcomes.
Your baby enters your life only once or twice — their safety deserves complete attention and care.

Pregnancy should never be taken lightly.
Awareness today prevents complications tomorrow.

Save this. Share this.
Because informed motherhood is safe motherhood.

💊 Correct Way to Take Iron Tablets in Pregnancy – Must Know! 🤰❤️

Iron is essential in pregnancy it increases hemoglobin, improves oxygen supply, and supports your baby’s growth.
But iron works best only when taken the right way!

How to Take Iron Tablets Correctly:

🌟 1. Take on an empty stomach for best absorption (or with a light snack if it causes nausea).
🌟 2. Avoid milk, tea & coffee 2 hours before and after – they block iron.
🌟 3. Take with Vitamin C (lemon/orange juice) to boost absorption.
🌟 4. Never take iron and calcium together — keep a 4–6 hour gap.
🌟 5. Best time: 1 hour before meals or at bedtime.
🌟 6. Black stools & mild constipation are normal — drink plenty of water.

Iron is important to prevent anemia, low oxygen levels, weakness, preterm birth & low birth weight.
A healthy mom = a healthy baby. 🤰💛

Today’s ultrasound felt magical…
Our baby’s face was so clear — tiny eyes, tiny nose, tiny lips.
It even looked like the baby was giving a cute little signal, placing a hand over the eyes as if saying,
‘Lower the lights… I’m sleeping safely inside.’

A little stretch, a little movement…
These small moments show how safe, healthy and comfortable the baby is inside the womb.
This is what true motherhood feels like. Watching life grow, gently move, and communicate in the most adorable ways.

A love that begins long before birth. 🤰💛
