🧬 What is a PAP Smear & Why is it Important? 💜

A PAP smear is a simple test that helps in detecting early changes in the cervix, including infections, pre-cancerous cells, and cervical cancer at an early stage.
It is painless, quick, and life-saving for women’s health.

👩‍⚕️ When should you get it done?

Every woman after the age of 21 should start regular PAP tests.

Especially important for those who are married, sexually active, or above 30 years of age.

Repeated once every 3 years (or as advised by your gynecologist).
