POV: you run yoga retreats with your Mum ✨🧘🏽♀️
“Is the yoga hard?” “Will it be lots of young women in lycra?” “Am I too old?”
Are all common questions I get asked when running a retreat, and the answer is always “The yoga is what you make of it - it can be gentle, with modifications, or you can make it strong, but it is ALWAYS all-inclusive.”
Which is exactly what we want it to be. Offering retreats with mum (65) and I (31), means we get people from all walks of life - and it honestly creates the most beautiful environment.
🤍
Yes, sometimes we drive each other batty - but this always ends in contagious laughter.
Sometimes we role reverse - I become the mum (as mine likes to not restrict her teachings to this little thing we call ‘time’ 😉) - all jokes aside we live for it because they carry so much wisdom and depth ✨
But we are forever learning from each other, teaching alongside each other, and grateful for the journey we get to share.
Above all of it though, we’re so beyond grateful to everyone who has chosen to book on a retreat with us.
They’re filled with joy, laughter, adventure, openness, a safe space for emotions, and people stepping into their power and their light.
It is such a beautiful thing to witness, and to guide.
Thank you to my wonderful, wise, kind, generous, cheeky mama for the experience, and for agreeing to teach alongside me so I too, can step into my light ✨🤍
To those we haven’t met yet - we’re excited to meet you one day 🫶🏽
And to those we have - thank you, thank you, thank you.
You give us the opportunity to walk the path we love with so much gratitude, joy and depth.
