*Conversations with Karma*

The Greeting of Karma

I heard a quiet whisper: “I am Karma.”
At first, I expected accusation, judgment, perhaps fear. But there was none. Only a calm presence, like the still surface of a lake.

"I am not your enemy, nor your reward. I am your reflection," it said.

I realized then that Karma is not something outside of me to fear or chase. It is the echo of every thought, every intention, every action. It is impartial. It simply shows up, patiently, moment by moment, revealing the life we are creating with our own hands.

Today, I sit and observe myself. Not to judge, not to punish, not to compare, but simply to see. How do my choices ripple through the small world I touch? How do my words, my silence, my kindness, or my neglect, return to me?

Karma does not hurry. It does not forget. It watches, quietly, waiting for me to notice. And when I notice, I begin to understand: every moment is an opportunity to plant a seed I want to grow.

*Today, I choose to plant with awareness.*
