सोनोग्राफी रिपोर्ट में अगर Focal Adenomyosis लिखा है, तो इसका मतलब है कि uterine wall के अंदर endometrial tissue implant हो गया है। पीरियड्स के दौरान यह tissue भी bleed करता है, जिससे severe menstrual pain और heavy bleeding हो सकती है।

कई बार यह condition fibroid जैसी दिखती है, लेकिन असल में यह adenomyosis होती है। जब यह focal यानी limited area में होती है, तो इसका treatment काफी आसान रहता है।

Microwave ablation therapy से इस area को heat देकर destroy किया जाता है, जिससे period pain, bleeding, और discomfort में राहत मिलती है। यह एक minimally invasive treatment है और recovery भी बहुत तेज होती है।
