Samaritan Heart Institute, the advanced Interventional Cardiology Unit at Pookkattupady-Kizhakkambalam Road, Pazhanganad, Aluwaye inaugurated on March 01st 2014 adding Interventional Cardiac Care.
Samaritan Hospital has carried the legacy of being the first in the entire state of Kerala to perform an Open Heart Surgery and still continues to have a established Cardiology Department under the able guidance and leadership of Dr. Koshy Eapen, MD, DM (Cardiology) since the past 30 years. Dr. Koshy Eapen currently is the Chief Consultant Cardiologist at Samaritan Heart Institute.
