Garg Maternity and Surgical Hospital is a well-established 20 bedded hospital and was the first Obstetric & Gynaecological centre in the region. (O&G) after retiring from the Indian Army in 1984. He has been joined by his son, Dr Aditya Garg and daughter in law, Dr Suman Garg, who have returned from UK to serve their country. Dr (Maj) S K Garg did his MBBS, DGO and MD(O&G) from AFMC ( Pune ) and served in the Indian Army for 17 years prior to retirement and starting private practice. He is the most experienced and seniormost Gynaecologist in the region, renowned for his clinical acumen and surgical skills. He has dealt with a huge number of challenging cases in his career. Dr Aditya Garg did his MBBS from Rohtak and did his O&G Speciality training MRCOG (London) from UK. He completed recognized superspeciality training in Fetomaternal Medicine from Manchester, UK CCST (England). He worked as a consultant in Brighton & Sussex University Teaching Hospital and started their Department of Fetal Medicine. He continues to remain on the GMC Specialist Register in the UK (Formal qualification needed to work as a consultant in UK). During his 13 year career in the UK, he has worked in various leading centres in the country and has authored a number of publications and presentations in various international journals and meetings. He is one of the few qualified Fetomaternal medicine experts in India. Dr Suman Garg did her MD (O&G) from KGMC, Lucknow, one of the premier medical institute in India. She subsequently worked in the UK for 5 years and did MRCOG (London) and DFFP (Formal Diploma in sexual health and family planning). She has done a prestigious fellowship in Gynae Oncology at St Mary’s Hospital, Manchester. She has also worked as a Consultant Gynaecologist in the local Civil Hospital and Rotary charitable and Cancer Hospital in Ambala Cantt. Her areas of special interest include Infertility, Gynae cancers and High risk pregnancy. Our Mission:
