🔴 Sudden red patch in the eye? Don’t panic!
A Subconjunctival Haemorrhage may look alarming, but it’s usually completely harmless.
It occurs when a tiny blood vessel bursts beneath the conjunctiva, leaving a bright red spot on the eye. 👁️
✨ Common triggers:
✔️ Intense coughing or sneezing 🤧
✔️ Heavy lifting or straining 🏋️♂️
✔️ Mild eye trauma 👓
✔️ Uncontrolled blood pressure 🩺
💡 Good news: It typically clears up on its own in 1–2 weeks.
But if you experience pain, blurred vision, or this keeps happening often, make sure to get it checked by an eye specialist. 👨⚕️👩⚕️
