A 27 yr old male with recurring pneumonias since one year was diagnosed @ a Ludhiana corporate hospital with severely leaking both left ( mitral) & right( Tricuspid) heart valves . He came forward with both failed ventricles and Lung pressures more than his BP .

An extra ordinary operation was planned for him :-
An extra anatomical graft connecting the great vessel exiting the heart with a view to bypass the faulty stented area (across from behind the heart running to the back towards the lower body vessel ) with an underdeveloped arch of aorta which had been missed in the first instance .
A HYBRID OPERATION WAS DONE IN NORTH INDIAS ONLY HYBRID CATH LAB ( outside NCR)@ HHH Amritsar where the open beating heart surgery was combined with stenting procedure for the trapped left arm artery as well. NOTE THE ARTIFICIAL GRAFT WHICH CONNECTS THE ASCENDING AORTA TO DESCENDING AORTA AND STENT IN THE LEFT ARM ARTERY.

A 16 year had recurrent hypertension after treatment of “coarctation of aorta “( congenital shelf like narrows of the great vessel supplying lower body and abdomen ) with a stent at a Delhi hospital ‼️
Thinking cure had been handed over to the patient, on follow up BP started creeping up again , when two more balloon dilations of stent were done again.
1 yr later hypertension again raised its head and doctors were puzzled about the solution to be offered .....and suggested another stenting procedure this time carrying risk of covering the left arm artery. This made the patient seek second opinion when we at HHH decided to investigate with a CT angiography if stented area . All this because patient had upper body & right arm hypertension 220/150 with severe headaches and left arm BP of 70/40 with leg BP of 90/60. This was pre prepared and sterilsred BOVINE ( CATTLE’s) JUGULAR ( Neck) VEIN which naturally has valves which promote unidirectional blood flow .
This is one of its kind not performed before in adult TETROLOGY OF FALLOT 23 years of age female.
