Patient Story - A Persistent Cough That Needed More Than Medicines 🫁


A 45-year-old lady came to us with a long history of persistent cough and sputum (phlegm) production. She was suffering from a condition called cystic bronchiectasis – where the air tubes in the lung become permanently widened, leading to repeated infections and difficulty in clearing mucus.

After trying medicines and other supportive care, her symptoms continued to worsen. She was finally treated with a minimally invasive lung surgery (VATS lobectomy) to remove the most diseased portion of her lung.

✅ The surgery helped her breathe easier and reduced the risk of repeated infections.
