PUNJAB TELE MANAS CELL ONSITE TRAINING PROGRAM: Aug 7th- 9th 2024.
The onsite training program for Tele-MANAS Cell Punjab was held from Aug 7th to 9th, 2024 at Institute of Mental Health, Amritsar. It was conducted jointly by team of mental health professionals from NIMHANS, Bengaluru and PGIMER, Chandigarh. The counsellors were trained in various aspects of online counselling and conversation skills. The sessions were conducted through role plays, audio-visual demonstrations and patient interactions. The counsellors benefitted from the training and gave a positive feedback for the same

(3)SCHOOL AWARENESS PROJECT: As an initiative to create awareness in the government schools in Amritsar district, the team from Tele-MANAS Cell, IMH Amritsar visited School of Eminence, Chheharta, Amritsar. The counsellors Mr. Baljeet Singh and Mr. Ramandeep Singh informed the faculty about the NTMHP and displayed posters for the information of students and teachers.
