Sukh Sagar Hospital is the result of a journey undertaken by the doctor couple - Dr. Amar Jeet Singh Nagpal and Dr. Balwinder Kaur. Starting from a small, one room clinic in Baba Sahib Chowk in the walled city in 1983, their practice took shape in the form of their first hospital - "Nagpal Nursing Home" in 1988, which runs successfully till date. Foreseeing the need of a good multi-speciality hospital in the civil lines area, the core team decided it was time to expand. A small hospital on Maqbool Road was acquired in 2001 and "Sukh Sagar Hospital" was born. Over the last 16 years, the hospital has progressed leaps and bounds to gain unshakeable faith and trust among the patients.

Sharing glimpses of Rheumasphere 2025, Amritsar's first state-level Rheumatology Conference, organised by New-Age Rheumatology and Sukh Sagar Hospital, under the aegis of IMA Amritsar. Immensely honoured that the President of Indian Rheumatology Association, Dr. Aman Sharma delivered the keynote lecture at the conference. The conference was well received and appreciated for punctuality and relevance of topics.

Dr. Swapan Nagpal was invited as faculty to deliver a talk on Ankylosing Spondylitis, and presented a poster on a rare case at the recently concluded IRACON at Delhi - the annual national conference of the Indian Rheumatology Association. His talk was much appreciated for its crisp and practical content.
