Every Monday to Friday , strapping your child to his chair and directing him look into the computer screen and making him believe his teacher is for real,not an imaginary figure!

That's the story of parents today (I am one of them )juggling with their kids online classes and work and chores.

It is equally stressful for teachers as they try and monitor and verbally control tiny kids in small grids on their screens ,while one is eating,one is crying and a few choose to wander off!

With physical schools shut and the never ending covid scare , online schooling has brought some semblance of a routine amongst kids , but it has put a lot of pressure on parents, to be able to teach them as well as their teachers would !

Hoping for better and safer times !

"Mothers milk is liquid gold"
While breastfeeding is the first and best choice for all newborn babies; in cases like :

-very sick newborns admitted to neonatal ICU and
-very low birth weight and preterm babies in whom there is risk of gut infections / sepsis with formula feed
-babies whose mothers have expired at birth
-when mothers milk flow is not enough for her baby
-mothers who are on certain medications like cytotoxic drugs and cannot feed their babies etc

the next best option is pasteurized donor human milk (PDHM) from a registered Human Milk Bank(HMB)

Akanksha hospital and Research Institute is the first private multispecialty hospital to have an in house HMB and milk is collected , processed and disbursed to all needy babies without any cost.
