The Game of Love and Justice

What will you do after hearing my story?
People walk with pride, believing themselves above others.
In the maze of worldly love, everything bends to the weight of money.
Be it the infidel or the polytheist — the world now belongs to them.

All speak of fearing God,
Yet justice slips quietly through their fingers.
They drown smiling, gazing through the windows of their own delusion.

I saw love’s true reflection in the Kaaba —
They circle, lost in divine rhythm,
Teaching the sacred game of love.

The heart grows narrow
When it learns only the lessons of the world;
And the same world whispers those lessons back,
Turning hearts into stone —
For the one who lives without love,
Lives without a soul.
